The company Pocinkovalnica, d.o.o. is a part of the Maksim, d.o.o. group. The core business of the company is hot-dip galvanizing of steel. The company was established in 1997, while our tradition and experience in hot-dip galvanizing run as far back as the second half of the 19th century. During this time, we have become a successful, market orientated company with a significant market share on markets of Slovenia, Croatia and Austria, which ensures that we maintain a stable business position.

Informing public about advantages of hot-dip galvanizing

By introducing ecologically oriented technologies, ensuring the highest quality of hot-dip galvanizing, maintaining a thoughtful relationship with our clients and co-workers and by informing Slovenian public about the advantages of hot-dip galvanizing in comparison with other methods of corrosion protection of steel, we directly contribute to the growing demand for hot-dip galvanizing. Slovenia is getting closer to Western European standards, where up to five times as much steel per inhabitant is galvanized. On 28th November 2007, the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning has issued us an environmental protection permit.
